Welcome to Cocos Islands District High School!
Cocos Islands District High School provides a highly valued, quality education program and service to the Cocos Islands community. We have high expectations of every student within the school and support students to aspire to be the best that they can be. We have a diverse student population at the school and are responsive to meeting the needs of all our students. We believe in developing the whole child (socially, academically, emotionally) so that all our students leave school well prepared for their future.
We have an agreed set of values, a school vision, and a school-wide teaching methodology. The combination of these three components provides the school community with both the direction and structure necessary to provide our students with the knowledge, understanding and skills to become lifelong learners and thrive in an everchanging world.
Our School has an exceptionally supportive group of students, staff, parents, and carers and receive ongoing valued support from our P & C Association and School Council, which work together to create a positive learning community.
Community members and prospective parents are welcome to visit the school, just let us know and we will take the time to show you our facilities and tell you about our programmes.
As Principal of this wonderful school, I am proud to lead a great school, with delightful students, amazing staff, and supportive families. We feel privileged and proud to be partners in your children’s learning journey.
